What kinds of items can I get valuations on?
SnapShip works on virtually anything with an active secondary market on eBay â sneakers, clothing, electronics, toys, collectibles, sports cards, video games, tools, kitchenware, jewelry, art, ceramics, vintage items, and more. If it sells on eBay, SnapShip can price it.
The AI is powered by Claude, one of the most capable vision models available. It identifies items from a photo by reading brand names, logos, model numbers, labels, and product details. Barcodes also work for instant lookup on any item that has one.
SnapShip works best on branded items where the AI can clearly read a logo, model number, or label in the photo. The more specific the identification, the more accurate the eBay sold data match will be.
Unusual or highly niche items with very few eBay sold comps will return an UNCLEAR verdict rather than showing unreliable data. That's by design â a wrong number is worse than no number when you're making a buying decision.
Items with no visible branding, items in very poor condition, or extremely rare one-of-a-kind pieces may return lower confidence results. For those, try a tighter crop on any visible branding, or scan the barcode if one is present.
